Couple of things happening here on the 23rd/26th Dec.

On the 23rd.. Skate at central skatepark then party with live band (THRUST) eddy belvadere, rob smith, mike matthews, kev eley, mark kendrik at the castle hotel pub 1 min walk away from the park, you gotta be crazy to miss it! (see flyer below)

Xmas turkey hangover comp 26th Dec.

Gunna be a session/jam/comp going on down at the new Manchester park. Come check it out!! Boxing day starting at about midday.

• Death match on the mini ramp/ditch.
• Product tosses.
• Best trick comp on the bench, pool coping thing and mini ramp.
• Prizes from globe shoes, two skatestore and others.

Just got one corner to sort out on the street section, then we're all done - check the progress for progress. Should be open next week, just need to finalise insurance stuff.

Shop will be open soon - decks, wheels, clothes and more.

Sound system is in - Buzzin'/Madchester/Mad for it etc.

Grand Opening Extravaganza!
We'll be having a Grand Opening on the 28th October, including 2 Best Trick Comps - one from Snickers, one from Bench, complete with tons of product giveaways/prizes etc.

Membership is required to skate/ride the Park, at a cost of £5.50 per year. If you get a Membership in time, it will be free entry for the Grand Opening (don't forget your Membership card).

They'll also be an afterparty at the Castle Hotel on the nearby Oldham St. when the park shuts. Click on tickets above for more info.

The park will be opening soon! We have a few sections of the street course to finish but shouldn't be much longer. Soon as the park is ready to open, it will be posted here.

Official opening should be around the last Saturday in October. However, the park will be open for business a few weeks before. All depends on how long it takes to get everything finished.

They'll also be a Skateshop - Central Skateshop (obvious I guess).

All reports so far have been positive with a few guys who came down today buzzin' their boobs off after skating the mini.

We've also secured a PA/Music system with a 20 speaker sound spectrum (not zx) from the legendary Johnny Roadhouse and we're also thinking about getting a video projector suspended high over the ditch which can show skate vids, etc. on the wall behind the middle mini.
